G.Inc is a Ukrainian experimental trio that fuses weight and texture into a dense, physical sound. Built on hard rhythmic drive and a strong visual component, the group moves between progressive metal, electronics, and industrial. In an interview, they describe a hybrid identity that treats live instruments, machines, and voice as equal forces on stage.
The band began as a bass-and-drums stoner duo before vocalist/DJ Hanna joined after a year and a half, shifting their direction. Close friendship defined the early phase as they simply tried making something together. That openness set the tone for a project comfortable with risk and change.
Their process blends analog and electronic tools, bass, acoustic and electronic drums, samples, and synths reshaped from track to track. Members draw from stoner and progressive metal as well as experimental hip-hop, techno, and house, refusing to sit in a single lane. All lyrics are in Ukrainian, and live sets read as hybrid performances where electronics and band interplay rather than compete.
Words arrive as mood, not manifesto. Listeners often project their own meanings, sometimes even hearing different words, an ambiguity the band welcomes.
Live work has become a test of resolve. They rehearse and travel between different cities, navigating blackouts, night shellings, and sudden power cuts that can erase rare windows of time together. Still, none of these obstacles has proven decisive enough to stop them.
“Libido” and “Mortido”, the two songs from Deviations EP from 2024, were written when the band had little more than a quiet bass amp on a chair in a tiny practice room, grinding through 10–12 hour sessions. Vocal part was completed only minutes before recording, capturing the urgency that runs through their music.
Touring has sharpened the edges. A two-week run through Denmark and Germany surfaced technical and personal stress while exposing gaps in everything from stage craft to visual design, merch, and support. The takeaway was clarity and a stronger bond, plus a broader view of what the project can become.
For G.Inc, music is also a stance. Years of industry narratives minimized Ukrainian identity, the war has blown that open, pushing artists to name themselves and carry their work beyond the old centers. The trio is proud to add their voice to that movement.
Looking ahead, G.Inc is recording an album and developing new material. Their next milestone is a gig in Paris this fall.
